On Saturday, he placed ninth in the 1st Round, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 119.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed eighth, jumping 123.5 m, scoring 133.7 points, for a total score of 253.0 points. Finally, on Sunday, Andreas finished ninth in the qualification round, jumping 122.0 m and scoring 93.5 points. In the 1st Round, he placed 10th, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 113.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 10th, jumping 129.5 m, scoring 136.4 points, for a total score of 250.3 points. A positive weekend for Andreas Wellinger. He finished in the top 10 twice, but he'll need to improve his jumps and landings, despite his excellent form.  Until next time!

  The final stage of the season sees the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger prepare to take part in the event in Planica, Slovenia. On Thursday, Andreas qualified 31st in the qualification, jumping 184.0 m and scoring 189.2 points. On Friday, he placed 8th in the 1st Round, jumping 218.5 m and scoring 211.0 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 8th, jumping 215.5 m, scoring 203.3 points, for a total score of 414.3 points. On Saturday, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger, Karl Geiger, Pius Paschke, and Philipp Raimund in the Team Competition. Andreas, who finished fourth on the German team, jumped 230.0 m in the 1st Round and 226.5 m in the Final Round. Germany finished fourth with a total score of 1374.7 points.   Penultimate stage of the season, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Vikersund, Norway. On Friday, Andreas qualified 33rd in the qualification, jumping 203.5 m and scoring 162.1 points. Finally, on Saturday, he placed 8th in the 1st Round, jumping 227.0 m and scoring 198.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 7th, jumping 219.0 m, scoring 225.5 points, for a total score of 423.8 points. Sunday's qualifying and competition were canceled due to windy conditions. It was a bittersweet weekend for Andreas Wellinger. He performed poorly in Friday's qualifying, but was competitive in Saturday's competition. Simply put, Andreas gave it his all in Vikersund.   After a positive weekend in Kulm, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Lahti, Finland. On Friday, in the single-round competition, Andreas placed 38th, jumping 109.0 m and scoring 97.4 points. Finally, on Saturday, Andreas finished 35th in the qualification round, jumping 114.5 m and scoring 119.7 points. In the 1st Round, he finished 33rd, jumping 119.0 m and scoring 121.6 points, which wasn't enough to qualify for the Final Round. A weekend to forget for Andreas Wellinger.   Eight years after competing in the Winter Olympics, Andreas Wellinger is competing in the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics with the goal of winning medals. Will he achieve this feat? On Saturday, February 14th, Andreas placed 15th in the 1st Round on the large hill, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 130.5 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round.   After a disastrous showing at the Four Hills Tournament, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to compete in the event in Zakopane, Poland. On Saturday, Andreas qualified 34th in the qualification, jumping 120.5 m and scoring 103.3 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round, he placed 16th, jumping 128.0 m and scoring 110.9 points, the same score as his teammate Pius Paschke, and enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 22nd, jumping 122.5 m, scoring 102.0 points, for a total score of 212.9 points. It was a weekend to forget for Andreas Wellinger. Unlike at the Four Hills Tournament, he managed to qualify for the Final Round, but he's still having trouble with his jumps, which are still below expectations, and this is impacting his results. The last of the four events of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Bischofshofen, Austria. On Monday, Andreas qualified 23rd in the qualification, jumping 127.5 m and scoring 128.4 points. Finally, on Tuesday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Slovenian Rok Oblak in a k.o., losing the duel, and finished 35th, jumping 120.5 m and with a score of 113.6 points, not enough to qualify for the Final Round. For Andreas Wellinger, this was the worst Four Hills Tournament of his career. He was always eliminated in duels and never re-entered thanks to the Lucky Loser.   Third of four events in the Four Hills Tournament, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is set to take part in the event in Innsbruck, Austria. On Saturday, Andreas qualified 49th in the qualification, jumping 115.0 m and scoring 97.9 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Austrian Stefan Kraft in a k.o., losing the duel, and finished 37th, jumping 120.0 m and with a score of 110.0 points, not enough to qualify for the Final Round. It was a disastrous weekend for Andreas Wellinger, who has consistently been at the back of the pack and never in the top 10 since the introduction of the new FIS-managed equipment. He too will have to contend with the FIS over the issue of new equipment.  Until next time!

  Second of the four events of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in his second home event, the one in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. On Wednesday, Andreas qualified 27th in the qualification, jumping 124.5 m and scoring 119.4 points, the same score as his teammate Ben Bayer. Finally, on Thursday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Norwegian Robin Pedersen in a knockout, losing the duel. He ranked 32nd, jumping 124.5 m and with a score of 111.2 points, not enough to qualify for the Final Round. Andreas Wellinger also had two days to forget in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He's struggling even more than the others and needs more training to get back on top of the world.  Until next time!

  The first of four events in the Four Hills Tournament, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in his home event, the one in Oberstdorf, Germany. On Sunday, Andreas qualified 39th in the qualification, jumping 117.0 m and scoring 102.4 points. Finally, on Monday, in the 1st Round he challenged his teammate Felix Hoffmann in a k.o., losing the challenge, he ranked 48th, jumping 110.5 m and with a score of 102.5 points, and therefore was not fished out in the Lucky Loser to qualify for the Final Round. Andreas Wellinger returned with the same problems as before: disastrous jumps and disappointing results. Not a great start to the Four Hills Tournament. On Friday, Andreas qualified 35th in the qualification, jumping 123.5 m and scoring 115.0 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 40th, jumping 123.5 m and scoring 112.1 points, not enough to qualify for the Final Round. Finally, on Sunday, Andreas placed 57th in the qualification, jumping 111.5 m and scoring 80.1 points, which was not enough to qualify for the 1st Round. Another weekend to forget for Andreas Wellinger. He's plagued by bad luck and struggling to perform at his best. This will be his worst season yet, and he'll have to train hard to get back to the top.   Until next time!

  Fourth stage of the World Cup, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Wisla, Poland. On Friday, Andreas qualified 43rd in the qualification, jumping 119.5 m and scoring 110.4 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 39th, jumping 118.0 m and scoring 113.7 points, not enough to qualify for the Final Round. Finally, on Sunday, Andreas finished 50th in the qualification round, jumping 109.5 m and scoring 91.6 points. In the 1st round, he finished 47th, jumping 115.0 m and scoring 107.8 points, which wasn't enough to qualify for the Final Round. This was the worst weekend of his entire career. Andreas Wellinger is currently struggling with both his jumps and his results, but he's been very unlucky so far this season. Andreas will know how to get out of this bad patch, and when he does, no one will be able to stop him.  Until next time!

On Saturday, Andreas qualified 27th in the qualification round, jumping 120.0 m and scoring 96.4 points. In the 1st round, he placed 7th, jumping 127.5 m and scoring 120.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. The Final Round was canceled due to wind, so his 1st Round result is now official. On Sunday, both the qualification round and the competition were canceled due to wind. Aside from the wind, which lingered all weekend, Andreas Wellinger's performance was mixed, but he's not happy with his jumps. He absolutely must improve his jumps if he wants to compete with the best.  Until next time!

  After a disastrous start to the season in Lillehammer, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Falun, Sweden. On Tuesday, Andreas finished 33rd in the Normal Hill qualification, jumping 86.0 m and scoring 101.6 points. In the 1st Round, he finished 16th, jumping 93.0 m and scoring 114.7 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he finished 19th, jumping 91.5 m, scoring 109.2 points, for a total score of 223.9 points. Finally, on Wednesday, Andreas finished 34th in the Large Hill qualification, jumping 118.5 m and scoring 107.0 points. In the 1st Round, he finished 40th, jumping 115.5 m and scoring 100.6 points, which wasn't enough to qualify for the Final Round. Falun was also a disaster for Andreas Wellinger. He's struggling to reach his peak and is currently far behind in terms of results. Andreas will have to change his approach to get back to competing with the best.  Until next time!
