Eight years after competing in the Winter Olympics, Andreas Wellinger is competing in the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics with the goal of winning medals. Will he achieve this feat? The competitions in Predazzo will reveal the answer. On Monday, February 9th, Andreas placed 18th in the 1st Round on normal hill, jumping 102.5 m and scoring 125.1 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 17th, jumping 104.0 m, scoring 129.4 points, for a total score of 254.5 points. On Saturday, February 14th, Andreas placed 15th in the 1st Round on the large hill, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 130.5 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 15th, jumping 127.5 m, scoring 127.0 points, for a total score of 257.5 points. Finally, on Monday, February 16, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger and Philipp Raimund in the Super Team. Andreas, who was the first jumper in the German team lineup, jumped 127.5 m in the 1st round and 123.5 m in the 2nd round, while the Final Round was canceled due to weather. Germany finished fourth, with a total score of 537.7 points. Andreas Wellinger didn't win any medals, but he still proved to be solid in his jumps. Now it's back to the World Cup for the Kulm event.
