Finally, on Friday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Finn Kasperi Valto in k.o., winning the duel, and ranked 1st, jumping 139.5 m and with a score of 161.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 1st, jumping 128.0 m, with a score of 148.0 points and with a total score of 309.3 points. Simply put, Andreas Wellinger won the Oberstdorf competition. On Friday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 6th, jumping 138.0 m and scoring 142.7 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 11th, jumping 127.5 m and scoring 124.8 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 8th, jumping 137.5 m, with a score of 139.8 points and with a total score of 264.6 points. Finally, on Sunday, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger, Martin Hamann, Selina Freitag and Katharina Schmid in Team Mixed. Andreas, who jumped fourth in the German team line up, jumped 132.5 m in the 1st Round and 133.0 m in the Final Round.
