Four Hills Tournament 2023/24: Oberstdorf

  First appointment of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in his home event, that of Oberstdorf, Germany. On Thursday, Andreas qualified 1st in the qualification, jumping 135.0 m and scoring 151.4 points. Finally, on Friday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Finn Kasperi Valto in k.o., winning the duel, and ranked 1st, jumping 139.5 m and with a score of 161.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 1st, jumping 128.0 m, with a score of 148.0 points and with a total score of 309.3 points. Simply put, Andreas Wellinger won the Oberstdorf competition. There are no doubts. Andreas Wellinger is constantly improving. He took the lead in the Four Hills Tournament and challenged Stefan Kraft for the title. Don't stop him in any way.  Until next time!

World Cup 2023/24: Engelberg

On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 1st, jumping 133.0 m and scoring 163.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round.   After having had an excellent weekend in Hinzenbach, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the last event of the Summer Grand Prix, at home in Klingenthal, Germany. On Friday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 6th, jumping 138.0 m and scoring 142.7 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 11th, jumping 127.5 m and scoring 124.8 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 8th, jumping 137.5 m, with a score of 139.8 points and with a total score of 264.6 points. Finally, on Sunday, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger, Martin Hamann, Selina Freitag and Katharina Schmid in Team Mixed. Andreas, who jumped fourth in the German team line up, jumped 132.5 m in the 1st Round and 133.0 m in the Final Round. On Saturday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 2nd, jumping 94.5 m and scoring 127.9 points. In the 1st Round he placed 1st, jumping 92.0 m and scoring 128.8 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 1st, jumping 90.5 m, with a score of 134.1 points and with a total score of 262.9 points. This means that he won the composition, ahead of his teammate Stephan Leyhe and the Austrian Daniel Tschofenig.
