World Cup 2023/24: Klingenthal
Third stage of the World Cup, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in his home event, that of Klingenthal, Germany. On Friday, Andreas qualified 7th in the qualification, jumping 132.5 m and scoring 118.1 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 6th, jumping 139.0 m and scoring 118.7 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 4th, jumping 144.5 m, with a score of 145.2 points and with a total score of 263.9 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 4th, jumping 127.0 m and with a score of 122.2 points. In the 1st Round he placed 7th, jumping 137.5 m and scoring 139.7 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 3rd, jumping 146.5 m, with a score of 153.4 points and with a total score of 293.1 points. Andreas Wellinger also took home a podium during the Klingenthal weekend and enjoyed doing some super jumps. But he is in the midst of fighting for the World Cup title and he certainly has no intention of giving up.
