World Cup 2023/24: Engelberg
Fourth stage of the World Cup, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Engelberg, Switzerland. On Friday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 2nd, jumping 133.0 m and scoring 167.1 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 1st, jumping 133.0 m and scoring 163.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 12th, jumping 121.5 m, with a score of 133.7 points and with a total score of 297.1 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 20th, jumping 127.5 m and with a score of 134.1 points. In the 1st Round he placed 4th, jumping 136.0 m and scoring 158.6 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 5th, jumping 134.0 m, with a score of 152.5 points and with a total score of 311.1 points. The wind put Andreas Wellinger in difficulty all weekend, making him distance himself from Stefan Kraft in the title fight, but the championship is still long and everything can change and he will have opportunities to catch up with Kraft in the general classification.
