Four Hills Tournament 2024/25: Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Second stop of the Four Hills Tournament, where German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in his second home event, the one in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. On Tuesday, Andreas qualified 12th in the qualification, jumping 130.0 m and scoring 133.0 points. Finally, on Wednesday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Czech Roman Koudelka in the k.o., winning the duel, and ranked 11th, jumping 126.5 m and with a score of 133.2 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 10th, jumping 134.0 m, with a score of 140.8 points and a total score of 274.0 points. Compared to Oberstdorf, Andreas Wellinger made progress in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. His jumps were solid, but below expectations, and he finished in the top 10. If he continues to improve as he has done so far, he can fight for the podium and the win.
