World Cup 2024/25: Ruka
Second appointment of the season, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Ruka, Finland. On Saturday, Andreas qualified 8th in the qualification, jumping 134.0 m and scoring 128.3 points. In the 1st Round he ranked 5th, jumping 141.0 m and scoring 148.1 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 5th, jumping 141.0 m, scoring 154.9 points and scoring 303.0 points in total. Finally, on Sunday, Andreas qualified 7th in the qualification, jumping 137.5 m and scoring 146.4 points. In the 1st Round he ranked 1st, jumping 146.5 m and scoring 143.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. The Final Round was cancelled due to wind and the results of the 1st Round became official. Thanks to this, Andreas won the competition. Despite the wind, Andreas Wellinger had a positive weekend. He is very focused, always trying not to make mistakes that could affect the overall standings. However, it is only the beginning and Andreas has time to recover in the overall standings.
