Raw Air Tournament 2024: Oslo

 


First stage of the Raw Air Tournament, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Oslo, Norway. On Friday, Andreas qualified 15th in the qualification, jumping 128.0 m and scoring 125.9 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 16th, jumping 126.0 m and scoring 110.0 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 20th, jumping 124.5 m, with a score of 106.1 points and with a total score of 216.1 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 12th, jumping 128.0 m and scoring 125.9 points. In the 1st Round he placed 18th, jumping 123.0 m and scoring 118.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 8th, jumping 128.5 m, with a score of 127.6 points and with a total score of 245.9 points. A weekend to forget for Andreas Wellinger, except for an 8th place in Sunday's competition, between wind and lack of concentration he had to fight against himself due to the jumps he made below expectations. But he will have other opportunities to make up for it in future events.

Four Hills Tournament 2023/24: Garmisch-Partenkirchen

  Second appointment of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the second home event, that of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. On Sunday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 2nd, jumping 139.0 m and scoring 139.0 points. Finally, on Monday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Kazakh Danil Vassilyev in the k.o., winning the duel, and ranked 4th, jumping 138.0 m and with a score of 144.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round.  In the Final Round he placed 3rd, jumping 137.5 m, with a score of 147.1 points and with a total score of 291.4 points. Despite the podium obtained with skill and talent, Andreas Wellinger's hunt for Stefan Kraft in the general classification continues, because he has activated his eagle vision.  Until next time!
