World Cup 2022/23: Rasnov

 


After his victory in Lake Placid, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Rasnov, Romania. On Friday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 1st, jumping 92.0 m and with a score of 126.3 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round, he finished 2nd, jumping 94.0 m and scoring 116.6 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 1st, jumping 99.0 m, with a score of 123.8 points and a total score of 240.4 points. This means that Andreas Wellinger won the Rasnov competition. Finally, on Sunday, in the Super Team Competition, Germany fielded Karl Geiger and Andreas Wellinger. Andreas, who jumped second in the German team's line up, jumped 95.0 m in the 1st Round, 93.5 m in the Second Round and 99.5 m in the Final Round. Germany finished 1st, with a total score of 736.9 points, ahead of Slovenia and Austria. Andreas Wellinger took a liking to it, obtaining two victories, one individual and one team, in Rasnov. Another weekend to remember for the German ski jumper. Now for Andreas Wellinger there is the World Ski Championships in Planica, in which he will certainly aim for the podium and victory.
