World Cup 2021/22: Willingen
After recovering from Covid-19 and tested negative for the swab, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the World Cup event at home, namely that of Willingen, Germany. On Friday, in the qualification, called prologue, Andreas qualified 16th, jumping 129.0 m and scoring 111.2 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he finished 12th, jumping 129.0 m and scoring 87.8 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. The Final Round was canceled due to strong winds and the result of the 1st Round becomes official. Finally, on Sunday, the qualification was canceled due to the wind. In the 1st Round Andreas finished 25th, jumping 124.0 m and scoring 87.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 22nd, jumping 125.5 m, with a score of 82.4 points and a total score of 170.3 points. For Andreas it was a bit of a subdued weekend, but he takes home important points for the standings.
