World Cup 2021/22: Bischofshofen
After an interlude of the Four Hills Tournament, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to compete in the event in Bischofshofen, Austria. On Saturday, Andreas qualified 42nd in qualifying, jumping 121.0 m and scoring 104.5 points. In the 1st Round he finished 23rd, jumping 127.5 m and scoring 118.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he finished 19th, jumping 131.5 m, with a score of 134.3 points and a total score of 252.7 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the Team Competition, Team Germany lined up Constantin Schmid, Andreas Wellinger, Karl Geiger and Markus Eisenbichler. Andreas, who jumped second, jumped 123.0 m in the 1st Round and 129.0 m in the Final Round. Team Germany finished 6th. Andreas Wellinger's weekend was bittersweet, but he returned to take part in the team competition.
