No Winter Olympics For Wellinger


The German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger will not take part in the Winter Olympics Beijing 2022 and therefore will not be able to defend the title of Olympic champion on normal hill won at the Winter Olympics PyeongChang 2018. In fact, the German team lined up for the Winter Olympics Beijing 2022 Karl Geiger, Markus Eisenbichler, Stephan Leyhe, Constantin Schmid and Pius Paschke. For Andreas this news is a blow to him and both he and his fans were disappointed. It will be tough for Andreas Wellinger to follow the Winter Olympics Beijing 2022 from home, although he would rather be there with his teammates but will cheer on his teammates.
