Andreas Wellinger Skips Zakopane

 


During Friday's training in Zakopane, Poland, which was later canceled along with the qualification due to strong winds, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger felt his right knee pain. Fortunately his right knee is fine, but for precautionary reasons he has decided not to take part in the Zakopane event. Andreas Wellinger will take part in the subsequent World Cup 2021/22 events. Get well soon, Andreas!

  After his victory in Hinzenbach, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the final event of the Summer Grand Prix, his home event in Klingenthal, Germany. On Friday, Andreas qualified 19th in the qualification, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 112.0 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 11th, jumping 131.5 m and scoring 120.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 8th, jumping 132.5 m, scoring 127.0 points and scoring 247.4 points overall. Finally, on Sunday, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger, Pius Paschke, Selina Freitag and Katharina Schmid in the Mixed Team. Andreas, who jumped fourth in the German team lineup, jumped 131.5 m in the 1st Round and 135.0 m in the Final Round. Germany finished 1st, ahead of Norway and Austria. World Cup 2024/25: Zakopane

  After a week's break, ski jumping returns with the World Cup, where the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is set to take part in the event in Zakopane, Poland. On Friday, Andreas qualified 12th in the qualification, jumping 126.5 m and scoring 138.3 points. On Saturday, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger, Pius Paschke, Karl Geiger and Philipp Raimund in the Team Competition. Andreas, who jumped fourth in the German team lineup, jumped 127.5 m in the 1st Round and 139.0 m in the Final Round. Germany finished 4th with a total score of 1110.0 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round he ranked 10th, jumping 133.0 m and scoring 147.2 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round.   Fourth seasonal appointment, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take on his home event, that of Titisee-Neustadt, in Germany. On Friday, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger and Pius Paschke in the Super Team. Andreas, who jumped first in the German team lineup, jumped 138.5 m in the 1st Round, 137.0 m in the 2nd Round and 137.0 m in the Final Round. Germany ranked 1st with a total score of 873.3 points, ahead of Austria and Norway. On Saturday, Andreas qualified 17th in the qualification, jumping 125.0 m and scoring 118.8 points. In the 1st Round he placed 3rd, jumping 140.0 m and scoring 140.8 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round.
