World Cup 2020/21: Nizhny Tagil

 


After a bad weekend in Ruka last weekend, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger seeks redemption in Nizhny Tagil, Russia. On Friday, Andreas qualified 32nd in qualification, jumping 119.0 m and with a score of 105.9 points, the same score as Severin Freund. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he finished 40th, jumping 118.0 m and with a score of 96.4 points, but it is not enough to qualify for the Final Round. Finally, on Sunday, Andreas qualified 38th in qualifying, jumping 96.5 m and with a score of 58.4 points. In the 1st Round he finished 39th, jumping 101.0 m and scoring 71.9 points, but it wasn't enough to qualify for the Final Round. Another bad weekend for Andreas Wellinger. He is struggling to return to the best. It takes time and patience.
