World Cup 2020/21: Ruka

 


After his return to the must-see competitions in Wisla last weekend, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to redeem himself in Ruka / Kuusamo, Finland. On Friday, in qualifying, Andreas qualified 39th, jumping 106.5 m and scoring 81.0 points. On Saturday, in the first round, he finished 34th, jumping 117.0 m and with a score of 101.0 points, the same score as Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes, but it was not enough to qualify in the final round. Finally, on Sunday, Andreas finished 27th in qualifying, jumping 118.5 m and scoring 87.4 points. In the first round he finished 42nd, jumping 114.0 m and scoring 82.5 points , but it was not enough to qualify for the final round. Another bad weekend for Andreas Wellinger. Patience. Will try again next time.

Four Hills Tournament 2023/24: Garmisch-Partenkirchen

On Sunday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 2nd, jumping 139.0 m and scoring 139.0 points. Finally, on Monday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Kazakh Danil Vassilyev in the k.o., winning the duel, and ranked 4th, jumping 138.0 m and with a score of 144.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round.  In the Final Round he placed 3rd, jumping 137.5 m, with a score of 147.1 points and with a total score of 291.4 points. Despite the podium obtained with skill and talent, Andreas Wellinger's hunt for Stefan Kraft in the general classification continues, because he has activated his eagle vision.  Until next time!
