Summer Grand Prix 2024: Klingenthal

  After his victory in Hinzenbach, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the final event of the Summer Grand Prix, his home event in Klingenthal, Germany. On Friday, Andreas qualified 19th in the qualification, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 112.0 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 11th, jumping 131.5 m and scoring 120.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 8th, jumping 132.5 m, scoring 127.0 points and scoring 247.4 points overall. Finally, on Sunday, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger, Pius Paschke, Selina Freitag and Katharina Schmid in the Mixed Team. Germany ranked 1st with a total score of 873.3 points, ahead of Austria and Norway. On Saturday, Andreas qualified 17th in the qualification, jumping 125.0 m and scoring 118.8 points.   After a week's break, ski jumping returns with the World Cup, where the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is set to take part in the event in Zakopane, Poland. On Friday, Andreas qualified 12th in the qualification, jumping 126.5 m and scoring 138.3 points.
