A month ago on Instagram I posted a picture of the beautiful German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger with a camera in his hand. Here is the image:


Well, The Golden Eagle German became a photographer. He is charming and smiling. But being a photographer is not suitable for him. Better ski jumping. Cheese!

Four Hills Tournament 2023/24: Garmisch-Partenkirchen

  Second appointment of the Four Hills Tournament, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the second home event, that of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. On Sunday, in the qualification Andreas qualified 2nd, jumping 139.0 m and scoring 139.0 points. Finally, on Monday, in the 1st Round he challenged the Kazakh Danil Vassilyev in the k.o., winning the duel, and ranked 4th, jumping 138.0 m and with a score of 144.3 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round.  In the Final Round he placed 3rd, jumping 137.5 m, with a score of 147.1 points and with a total score of 291.4 points. Despite the podium obtained with skill and talent, Andreas Wellinger's hunt for Stefan Kraft in the general classification continues, because he has activated his eagle vision.  Until next time!

Summer Grand Prix 2024: Klingenthal

  After his victory in Hinzenbach, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the final event of the Summer Grand Prix, his home event in Klingenthal, Germany. On Friday, Andreas qualified 19th in the qualification, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 112.0 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 11th, jumping 131.5 m and scoring 120.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he placed 8th, jumping 132.5 m, scoring 127.0 points and scoring 247.4 points overall. Finally, on Sunday, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger, Pius Paschke, Selina Freitag and Katharina Schmid in the Mixed Team. Andreas, who jumped fourth in the German team lineup, jumped 131.5 m in the 1st Round and 135.0 m in the Final Round. Germany finished 1st, ahead of Norway and Austria. Raw Air Tournament 2024: Vikersund

  Third and final stage of the Raw Air Tournament, which unlike Oslo and Trondheim, the Vikersund program provides differently. Friday's qualification includes 50 ski jumpers based on the Ski Flying ranking and only 40 athletes will qualify. In Sunday's competition in the 1st Round there will be 30 ski jumpers, in the 2nd Round there will be 20, while in the Final Round there will only be 10. Will Andreas Wellinger be able to make it to the end of the competition in Vikersund? On Friday, Andreas qualified 10th in the qualification, jumping 221.0 m and scoring 203.6 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st individual competition he ranked 6th, jumping 216.5 m and scoring 225.8 points. In the 2nd individual competition, in the 1st Round he placed 15th, jumping 198.5 m and scoring 172.1 points, enough to qualify for the 2nd Round.
