Today is a special day for the Golden Eagle German Andreas Wellinger. In fact, today is his birthday and after two months of rehabilitation due to an injury, he returned to training. Happy birthday, Andreas! We fans look forward to seeing you again in ski jumping action.  Until next time!

Bad news for fans of the Golden Eagle German Andreas Wellinger. The news was communicated by himself via the post on Instagram. He says he had an accident on the hill three days ago, feeling pain on his knee. After MRI was performed, the knee was found to be damaged, including the torn cruciate ligament. The operation was done yesterday and will have to do a rehabilitation. It will be a different summer, with a different workout. Will be back soon. So no ski jump summer championship for Andreas. Dear Andreas, we wish you a speedy recovery and we are waiting for your return in ski jumping competitions. Get well soon!

Today is Easter and the Golden Eagle German Andreas Wellinger is celebrating eating chocolate and with his family and friends. Here is the dedication to celebrate this day: Happy Easter Andreas from me and your fans!

The season of the Golden Eagle German Andreas Wellinger has been negative so far. Out of the top 10 most of the times, a podium and a podium in the teams. A season below expectations. Focused yes, but not enough. We say that Andreas is going through a negative moment. He will have to get out of the tunnel of negative results if he wants to get back to winning. The Golden Eagle German Andreas Wellinger is back to compete in team ski jumping in Lahti, Finland. A nice return with the snow. In fact, Germany came 2nd, behind Austria and ahead of Japan. A great satisfaction for him and for the German national team. This podium was needed. Andreas misses the podium a lot. He returned to us, but to teams. Now it's up to the single jump. After missing the Zakopane races, the Golden Eagle German Andreas Wellinger returns to action. In fact, he is ready to play ski jumping competitions in Sapporo, Japan, on 25-27 January. Andreas skipped Zakopane simply because he wanted to train to get back stronger than before. It is never contradicted.
