World Cup 2024/25: Lahti

  After the Raw Air Tournament, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Lahti, Finland. On Saturday, Andreas qualified 3rd in the qualification, jumping 127.0 m and scoring 129.6 points. In the 1st Round he ranked 7th, jumping 122.5 m and scoring 126.5 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 6th, jumping 127.5 m, scoring 135.0 points and scoring 261.5 points in total. Finally, on Sunday, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger and Philipp Raimund in the Super Team. Andreas, who jumped second in the German team lineup, jumped 123.0 m in the 1st Round, 126.5 m in the 2nd Round and 126.0 m in the Final Round. Germany finished 4th with a total score of 762.1 points. Positive weekend for Andreas Wellinger, who had to say goodbye to his teammate Stephan Leyhe, who announced his retirement from his career in which Lahti was his last event, who despite his jumps below expectations still managed to rank in the top 10....

Raw Air Tournament 2025: Vikersund

  Second and final stage of the Raw Air Tournament, where the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Vikersund, Norway. On Friday, Andreas qualified 4th in the qualification, jumping 225.0 m and scoring 196.8 points. On Saturday, he placed 1st in the 1st Round, jumping 228.0 m and scoring 208.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 1st, jumping 229.5 m, scoring 227.2 points and scoring 436.1 points. Finally, on Sunday, in the 1st Round Andreas ranked 2nd, jumping 230.5 m and scoring 199.2 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. The Final Round was cancelled due to the wind and the result of the 1st Round becomes the official one. In addition, Andreas Wellinger won the Raw Air Tournament. The qualification scheduled for Sunday was cancelled due to the wind. Winning the Raw Air Tournament is very significant for Andreas Wellinger because despite the wind he showed his talent.  Until next time!

  First stage of the Raw Air Tournament, where the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Oslo, Norway. On Thursday, Andreas qualified 2nd in the qualification, jumping 125.5 m and scoring 120.2 points. In the 1st Round he ranked 2nd, jumping 125.5 m and scoring 125.2 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round he ranked 7th, jumping 125.0 m, scoring 124.7 points and with a total score of 249.9 points. Positive day for Andreas Wellinger, who despite the wind managed to rank in the top 10, but with jumps below his expectations.  Until next time!

Ski Jumping World Championships 2025: Trondheim

  The World Cup takes a break to make room for the Ski Jumping World Championships, where the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is set to take part in the event in Trondheim, Norway. On Saturday, March 1st, Andreas qualified 2nd in the qualification of normal hill, jumping 105.5 m and with a score of 138.2 points. On Sunday, March 2, he placed 2nd in the 1st Round, jumping 106.5 m and scoring 133.9 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he placed 2nd, jumping 104.5 m, scoring 129.3 points and scoring 263.2 points in total. On Wednesday, March 5, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger, Philipp Raimund, Katharina Schmid and Selina Freitag in the Mixed Team. Andreas, who jumped fourth in the German team lineup, jumped 125.5 m in the 1st Round and 139.0 m in the Final Round. Germany finished 4th with a total score of 899.0 points. On Thursday, March 6, Germany fielded Andreas Wellinger, Karl Geiger, Stephan Leyhe and Philipp Raimund in the Team Competition. And...
