Andreas Wellinger Will Miss Engelberg

  Due to poor results in the first five events, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger will not compete in the Engelberg event. The German team's coach has decided that Andreas will train with his teammate Karl Geiger and will be called up as soon as he is definitely ready.  Until next time!

World Cup 2025/26: Klingenthal

  Fifth stage of the season, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in his home event, the one in Klingenthal, Germany. On Friday, Andreas qualified 35th in the qualification, jumping 123.5 m and scoring 115.0 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 40th, jumping 123.5 m and scoring 112.1 points, not enough to qualify for the Final Round. Finally, on Sunday, Andreas placed 57th in the qualification, jumping 111.5 m and scoring 80.1 points, which was not enough to qualify for the 1st Round. Another weekend to forget for Andreas Wellinger. He's plagued by bad luck and struggling to perform at his best. This will be his worst season yet, and he'll have to train hard to get back to the top.   Until next time!

World Cup 2025/26: Wisla

  Fourth stage of the World Cup, in which the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Wisla, Poland. On Friday, Andreas qualified 43rd in the qualification, jumping 119.5 m and scoring 110.4 points. On Saturday, in the 1st Round he placed 39th, jumping 118.0 m and scoring 113.7 points, not enough to qualify for the Final Round. Finally, on Sunday, Andreas finished 50th in the qualification round, jumping 109.5 m and scoring 91.6 points. In the 1st round, he finished 47th, jumping 115.0 m and scoring 107.8 points, which wasn't enough to qualify for the Final Round. This was the worst weekend of his entire career. Andreas Wellinger is currently struggling with both his jumps and his results, but he's been very unlucky so far this season. Andreas will know how to get out of this bad patch, and when he does, no one will be able to stop him.  Until next time!

World Cup 2025/26: Ruka

  Third seasonal stage of the World Cup, in which  German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Ruka, Finland. On Saturday, Andreas qualified 27th in the qualification round, jumping 120.0 m and scoring 96.4 points. In the 1st round, he placed 7th, jumping 127.5 m and scoring 120.4 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. The Final Round was canceled due to wind, so his 1st Round result is now official. On Sunday, both the qualification round and the competition were canceled due to wind. Aside from the wind, which lingered all weekend, Andreas Wellinger's performance was mixed, but he's not happy with his jumps. He absolutely must improve his jumps if he wants to compete with the best.  Until next time!
