World Cup 2025/26: Falun

  After a disastrous start to the season in Lillehammer, the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Falun, Sweden. On Tuesday, Andreas finished 33rd in the Normal Hill qualification, jumping 86.0 m and scoring 101.6 points. In the 1st Round, he finished 16th, jumping 93.0 m and scoring 114.7 points, enough to qualify for the Final Round. In the Final Round, he finished 19th, jumping 91.5 m, scoring 109.2 points, for a total score of 223.9 points. Finally, on Wednesday, Andreas finished 34th in the Large Hill qualification, jumping 118.5 m and scoring 107.0 points. In the 1st Round, he finished 40th, jumping 115.5 m and scoring 100.6 points, which wasn't enough to qualify for the Final Round. Falun was also a disaster for Andreas Wellinger. He's struggling to reach his peak and is currently far behind in terms of results. Andreas will have to change his approach to get back to competing with the best.  Until next time!

  The World Cup season has officially begun and the German ski jumper Andreas Wellinger is ready to take part in the event in Lillehammer, Norway. On Saturday, Andreas placed 56th in the qualification, jumping 110.0 m and scoring 104.9 points, but not enough to qualify for the 1st Round. Finally, on Sunday, Andreas qualified 43rd, jumping 119.0 m and scoring 105.4 points. In the 1st Round, he placed 40th, jumping 123.5 m and scoring 109.5 points, which wasn't enough to qualify for the Final Round. Andreas Wellinger's World Cup season got off to a rough start. He struggled with his jumps and failed to qualify. It was a weekend to forget for him. There's time to recover, but it'll be tough competing with the best.  Until next time!
