Andreas Is Injured
Bad news for fans of the Golden Eagle German Andreas Wellinger. The news was communicated by himself via the post on Instagram. He says he had an accident on the hill three days ago, feeling pain on his knee. After MRI was performed, the knee was found to be damaged, including the torn cruciate ligament. The operation was done yesterday and will have to do a rehabilitation. It will be a different summer, with a different workout. Will be back soon. So no ski jump summer championship for Andreas.
